DMX On-Site
Many businesses rely on CDs, mp3 playlists or satellite radio. But, playing DJ takes time away from your day. Employees tend to play what they like, not what’s right for your business. And radio, while fine for listening, isn’t designed specifically for business use. If you’re going to have music for your business, make it work for you. Make it DMX Music.
| Stay focused on your business.
Let us handle the music for your business – from meticulous song selection to all aspects of daily management including delivery, updating and licensing requirements.
Be experienced
Let customers actually experience your brand with highly customized in-store sonic solutions that capture the personality of your brand or business.
Control your environment
Ensure your customer experience is consistent from visit to visit and your music meets your goals. |
|
Make an impression.
DMX Music not only enhances today’s visit but connects on an emotional level to create positive associations and lasting customer bonds.
Influence behavior
Clear tables faster. Get customers to linger longer. Make time fly. Excite, sooth or move. It’s not magic. It’s the power of music.
Keep it legal
Relax. DMX handles all required music licensing through thousands of relationships with critical industry players, including labels, performing rights organizations (ASCAP, BMI and SoundExchange) and publishers. |

As you have probably gathered from some of our recents posts, we love the iPad. We have been doing lots of great installations with them lately and are looking forward to many, many more as the technology continues to grow. Sometimes controlling a space via iPad involves leaving that iPad unattended in the space at times when it’s not a private residence. This can obviously be a concern for clients given their popularity.
We recently came across what we think could be a great solution and the company is right here in Charlottesville with us! Ipad Laser Engraving can engrave the back of an iPad with anything from a company logo to a family photo. It would be pretty hard for anyone else to claim it as theirs. And, even if you aren’t concerned about securing the iPad, it still looks very cool!
Find out more and check out some of the great projects whey have done on their WEBSITE. They do iPhones as well!

Picture This: You’re at a wedding ceremony or conference for work where you can hear perfectly AND there is no large speaker blocking your view of the bride or presenter. Doesn’t happen very often does it? Well, our featured product this week makes it very possible. Meet the Bose L1 which is available for rental from The AV Company.
Believe it or not, the small speaker you see below is a unique, all-in-one system that delivers clear, powerful sound throughout small and medium-sized venues for up to 500 people. Because it’s made by Bose, the sound is even no matter where you are in the room and it eliminates the need for conventions monitors, mixers and PA systems in most cases.
Contact us today to reserve the Bose L1 for your wedding, event or conference!

We just found out that our website won the Theatre Seats 2010 Web Exellency Award! A note from the Theatre Seats website:
“Unless you are trained in all the latest audiovisual technologies, know it all from the boardroom to the home theater and everything in-between, it’s best to gain advice from the experts. Since this is likely to be the case, a sound piece of advice would be to read through some blogs for helpful information on true audiovisual specialists. Don’t waste your time with just any blog, though – Hold out for the award winners handpicked by our talented judging team.
The sites listed below will hook you up to the AV specialists that will truly connect you to whatever setup your heart desires. Sometimes it’s best to leave things to the specialists, especially when it comes to technical and altogether expensive equipment, so take the plunge and click your way to some free knowledge and power. You’ll be glad you did.”
Thank you for including us! And, thank you to Watermark Design for our awesome site!

Most people are familiar with having a ‘server’ in their office…the one that stores computer files, etc. But, have you thought about having one at home? More and more people are using media servers to store movies, music and digital photography! One of our recent favorites is the Fusion Genesis server. It allows you to store all of your media in one place and then access it from multiple locations within your home.
The system allows you to search, sort or filter literally thousands of titles
and have instant access to any of them with a single button press. It can also stream multiple feeds throughout the network to different locations so that everyone in the family can watch what they want without bothering others.
Check out this VIDEO from Fusion on how to search through your collection!

We were recently contracted by a local school system to provide master clocks and thought we would share a little more about them here on our blog. Bogen Time Systems provide schools with the correct, up-to-the-second time everywhere in the school. This means that every area from classroom to cafeteria, gymnasium to media center, administrative office to the lobby are all in sync. For more information, check out Bogen’s Time System Brochure or give us a call!
