The Music Resource Center® is a state-of-the-art facility where teens can learn the latest technology in the music industry and study and participate in every phase of music production. The mission of the Music Resource Center is to educate and inspire young people and through music equip them with life skills for the future. We accomplish this mission through music education and performance opportunities, as well as life skills mentoring. At the Music Resource Center, the arts are used as a catalyst to fashion real economic and personal development opportunities for our members.

C-ville Weekly announced the 2010 Best Of winners today! If you haven’t seen them yet, you will find the list HERE. Congrats to everyone on their awards! We are very excited to provide lighting & decor for the Best of C-ville Party on Friday night at the Main Street Arena (formerly the Cville Ice Park)! It will ba a great time, as always, and we hope to see you there!
When clients approach us about wedding lighting and event lighting in a tent they they usually think about what it can add to the tables, the dance floor or even fabric along the sides of the tent. Don’t ignore what is above you! Adding a little ‘texture’ to the top of a tent can be fun too! We can either project a pattern right onto the tent ceiling or onto fabric installed in certain areas of the tent.
Another idea- if your guests will be approaching the tent after dark, light the exterior top of the tent! It makes for great photos! Here is an example of a pattern on fabric-
Happy Spring! It’s the time of year when we begin doing a lot of beautiful wedding lighting in Charlottesville (and all over the place, really!) Wedding and event lighting is always fun because it allows us to do something different each time based on the clients wedding colors and style. Recently a client having her wedding in Charlottesville contacted us about paper lanterns. She had seen them done well, she had seen them done badly and most of all, she had only seen them in white!
